Businesses, Micozzi (UniMercatorum): "The propensity for growth is difficult"

“Another fact” that emerged from the Gem Italia 2024-2025 Report “is the propensity for growth: new Italian companies that are born do not have the capacity to employ staff and this is due to various factors, such as a complex bureaucratic context, high tax burdens, which do not favor investments and hiring, but also depends on the structural lack of digital infrastructures and support for innovation. This particularly affects high-tech companies”. This is what Alessandra Micozzi, dean of the Universitas Mercatorum, said at the presentation of the Gem Italia 2024-2025 Report, edited by Universitas Mercatorum - the University of the Italian Chambers of Commerce of the Multiversity Group - held in Rome.
